At Port Stephens in New South Wales, one of the best beaches to go nude in Australia, Samurai Beach, is 1km long. Situated by Tomaree National Park, protected by sand dunes and thick vegetation, the beach is defined by rocky outcrops at both ends. The water is sparkling clear blue and occasionally you will see dolphins playing in the shallows. There are no toilets or snack bars so come prepared; this is a slice of natural Australia. Watch your timings in November this beach hosts the annual Nude olympics – which is either your thing or its very much not! you have been warned!

Best to go nude in Australia – Cobblers Beach

Another brilliant selection from the best Australian Nudist Beaches, Cobblers Beach is located on the northern side of Middle Head, Sydney. Follow the same directions as for Obelisk Beach , another popular beach for naturism, but after parking, head north across Middle Head oval and follow the track to the beach. Cobblers is a lovely beach and attracts a large number of boats.

I was in Sydney for about six weeks working and tried to spend as much time as possible at Cobblers Beach. It is a small beach and on fine days gets crowded early in the day. There is a small sandy beach and a small grassed area. When I was there, there was a mix of males and females and also family groups.It was a pleasant interlude and when ever I am in Sydney, I try and make it to Cobblers Beach. Parking was limited and I noticed that some car did have parking tickets on one day. Access to Cobblers was down an unformed track across the baseball diamond…”

Swanbourne Beach is a 20 minute drive south of Perth. The water is a stunning, sparkling pale turquoise and the white sand beach stretches out for a long way. It is a great spot for snorkling, surfing, sun bathing, and family gatherings.
