No. 1 Irelands Best Naturist Beaches – Silver Strand Beach, Barna, County Galway

Silver Strand is about four miles away from Galway and naturists flock to the small beach just off the main beach. To access the nudist beach, walk for about 20 minutes on the stone path. The perfectly quiet beach is in a beautiful setting and well worth the walk to get there.

No. 2 Irelands Best Naturist Beaches – Roundstone, County Galway

This naturist beach, which is surrounded by stunning scenery including rivers, beaches lakes and mountains, is off the Galway – Clifden road at the exit marked Roundstone.

To reach the naturists section walk all the way along the beach until you come to a path at the far end that leads up the hill to a gate. Another path leads across the headland from the gate to a sandy cove which is barely visible from a distance

No. 3 Irelands Best Naturist Beaches – West Cork, County Cork

Spectacular West Cork offers many quiet and private coves. Perfect secluded destinations include both sides of Clonakilty Bay, Dunowen with its rocky cliffs, Dunny Cove and Sands Cove while Glandore includes the famous rocky Prison Cove that is a long-accepted haven for naturists.

Naturists can also explore Simons Cove, Roaring Water Bay, Lough Hyne and the magnificent Beara peninsula which have many deserted beaches for nude beach lovers.

No. 4 Ireland Best Naturist Beaches – Corballis, Donabate, County Dublin

Corballis is just off the busy M1 Dublin to Belfast motorway. The beach can be accessed by driving through Donabate. Driving from Dublin go past the Airport and the town of Swords. Drive for a mile after the last of a few roundabouts watch for the turn right to Donabate.

Naturists should park as far down the beach as possible as this is a long walk from the road – caution – watch out for soft sand when parking. Once parked, just walk until you come to the secluded naturist area. Another option is to drive towards Donabate but turn right at the signpost for the Island Golf Club and Corballis Golf Club.  A small layby is suitable for parking just before you get to the golf club entrance. Follow the path through the gate over the dunes until you reach the beach. Once there, turn right and walk for another 15 minutes to the naturist area.

No. 5 Ireland Best Naturist Beaches – Brittas Bay, Co. Wicklow

Brittas Bay is said to be one of the most popular of Irelands best naturist beaches on the east coast of Ireland. The main beach is clothes-only and attracts holiday makers with their campers and caravans during weekends and peak holidays.  Two miles south of the main beach is the naturist beach, you will find a long and sandy beach, backed by large dunes but wear flipflops or other waterpoof shoes if you going to skinny dip there stones in a strip between the dunes and the water.

To get there, take the Junction 7 of the main Dublin-Wexford M11 south motorway, nine miles south of Rathnew. Follow the signpost for Jack White’s Cross and Pub. Turn right at the end of the road and follow the coastline for 2 miles until you come to an area marked “Buckrooney.”

Walk through the gate and turn left onto the beach.  Continue walking until you reach the fenced area on the dunes. This area is for naturists, however, if you do go naked in Ireland here do not wander outside this fenced area – the INA cautions that the beach is so popular with clothed families.
